I admire gardens that have beautiful roses but here in the Sandhills it is not easy to grow them.  Most of us have planted "Knock-Out" roses which are productive, low maintenance, and tolerate the hot, dry, sandy soil of this area. The rose above is not one of these, but is a variety grown in the Raleigh Rose Garden where it was photographed.

  2. Beautiful Fay. I am partial to Roses. This challenge must not be so hard for you...You take the challenge year round!! I admire you..It is a lot of work
