This has been a beautiful week end at the beach. Our beach season doesn't end with Labor Day, we will have many more days of hot weather and lots of good fishing and crabbing before  Fall weather arrives.

I did this quick little painting of the Bald Head Island light and I like the way it turned out. I will be spending some time on Bald Head with my good friend Teej in October. I always create a lot of  new paintings  when she invites me to her home on this beautiful island.
