Crabby Abby

Crabby Abby   SOLD
Driving for a couple of hours, sitting in a long gallery meeting in Southport, picking up paintings from my gallery that is closing on Bald Head Island, and then, finally, painting. Getting in front of the easel is not usually preceded by so many other things, so by the time I got to paint, I was ready to make it playful.  It  became kind of an improvisation of a crab with an impatient personality, since I was so impatient to dip into color and have fun.

    1. Mary, I guess we need days like that so we can truly appreciate a day when we can just paint!
I so appreciate your comments. You are really on fire with your painting and I love seeing your paintings.

    1. Thanks, Linda, I love your comments and encouragement.

So funny, I read your post about Atlanta and we would have been in
that workshop together had I not canceled after I signed up. It sounds like a great week
and I am glad you had a good experience. I had several friends who went and
      also liked it very much.
