I had so much fun painting this little nutcracker, especially the fluffy white hair. This is the favorite in my small collection of Christmas nutcrackers. I just love the bright epaulets on his jacket and the yellow stripes on the sleeves.
This is really early to be painting holiday themed paintings but these are going to a fundraiser for the Sandhills Children's Center that is coming up very soon. It is the Festival Of Trees and is held at the beautiful Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst.
