Out Of Season

Gardenias bloom here in June so this beauty on one of my plants yesterday morning was a nice surprise.  These are my very favorite flowers because I love the scent.  Yesterday would have been my dad's birthday so it made me smile to see a gift from nature.  The small crystalline pot is from Dover pottery in Seagrove and  HERE is a link to their explanation of this unusual glaze.
