American Apple
I have been painting a lot of Granny Smith apples lately but today I chose a bright red apple.
I learned something new today about U. S. apple production-we rank second in number of apples grown, and China ranks number one with about seven times more than the four million tons of apples we produce. And the top apple growing state? Washington! (but North Carolina is in the top ten).
