Vitamin C On Demand

Sunny Day Orange, 6 x 6 " oil on gessobord panel, ©2013, Fay Terry

$100, free shipping

This yellow bowl is another beautiful piece of pottery from Franklin Square Gallery in Southport. I highly recommend this co-op gallery as an excellent place to purchase gifts of locally made pottery and paintings, including some of my own.

I have been eating an orange every day and I love them as an afternoon snack before I start cooking dinner.  I'd rather eat my Vitamin C than drink it, and oranges have lots, but there are seven foods that have more. Papayas, red bell peppers, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, kiwis, and strawberries all beat the citrus fruits. Kale has the most, with a whopping one hundred sixty-one milligrams. I love all these foods so no more vitamin C supplements for me.

Dog Cookies

Do You Have A Dog?, 6 x 6 " oil on panel, ©2013, Fay Terry

$100 includes shipping

My dogs love to earn a treat and we call them cookies. If they think they might get a cookie for a reward, they move quickly to obey and sometimes they are not sure so they do it anyway.
This little yellow bowl is one of my favorites and I love to paint it no matter what I put in it.

Thank you for all your comments and emails, I love hearing from you!

Consider The Possibilities...

Yellow Soup Bowl, 5 x 7 " oil on panel, ©2012, Fay Terry

Sometimes when we see an empty vessel, we can think of so many uses for it, both practical and decorative. This is one of my favorite pottery pieces from the Associated Artists Of Southport gallery.
I have painted it a few times but I have never used it.
This piece was purchased specifically for me to use in paintings and I have not considered other ways to enjoy it until now. I will work on the idea of painting it again when it is not an empty bowl. After all, when you love something as much as I love this bowl, you just naturally want to focus your attention there.

Knick-Knack, Paddy Whack

Knick-Knack, Paddy Whack

It seems Bentley the cat has been
spending a lot of time with me in my studio.
The dogs are both very jealous so I
came up with this little bowl full of treats to
appease them.
