This painting is from a photo that I took last week along with lots of others on the brightest sunny day imaginable. The shadows on the leaves and flowers were gorgeous.  I am very pleased with the way this turned out and have several more that I want to paint. It makes me feel the excitement of spring each time I look at it. Maybe you can feel it too and would love to own this one.
P.S. This is my 900th post!! It doesn't seem possible.

The Dogwood trees are all in bloom

here in North Carolina.  Ours seem to have

more blossoms than usual.  I always look forward

to April for this reason.
