Big Bowl

This is a favorite painting from the past, now hanging in a Southern Pines kitchen. I went to the garden, picked all of this, and decided it was so beautiful I had to paint it in my large walnut salad bowl which was a wedding gift many years ago.
This year's lettuce is growing well so I expect a great crop.

    Lettuce is hard to paint. We grow a lot to sell at the Farmers market and I've tried several times and never gotten anything so beautiful. But, I see it can be done so I'll try again.
