Growing Wild

Beautiful Climber, 6 x 6 " oil on archival panel, © Fay Terry, 2015

The Wisteria is just beginning to bloom here but is still not as profuse as what we saw in Charleston last week end. One of my favorite spots to paint this lovely vine was recently ripped out by the town and was blocking the view of traffic near an intersection. I will find some new places to paint it; but just in case, I took some nice photos of it thriving in South Carolina.

  1. This is beautiful. Wisteria is beautiful but can be very invasive. I've seen it rip porches off houses once it got a grip on it. Sometimes it's a love/hate relationship.
