This was painted from a photo I found either on Paint My Photo or the Morgue File. It was fun to paint and I am grateful for the use of the photo. I still want to find my collection of Pelican photos to use.
I will be continuing with more of these amazing creatures. I love seeing a long line of them flying over the beach.
Pelicans are so interesting. You captured him so perfectly here. In cartoons pelicans are usually Drs. Or professors and he does look like a professor. Totally cute.
