This painting is a scene from Sweden several summers ago when we traveled there. I would love to go back to this island again and revisit my daughter in law's family. These little buildings are close to the water and are used for storage of boating supplies and necessities.

This is a flower that grows in Sweden, near the Baltic sea. It was photographed on the island of Olund, one of the most beautiful places I have seen.  The light on it made it seem to have many vibrant hues, although it was one color.

This is Yvonne's house in Sweden, on the island of Olund. She is a wonderful artist and we had the pleasure of visiting her on the island while this house was being redone so that she could move into it. We were there for Midsummer Holiday and there were almost twenty four hours of daylight.

I love the houses in Sweden and also the people. My son's wife, Kim, was born in Sweden so we traveled with them and met many of her delightful family members.
