Turquoise

Regal Pine Cone, 6 x 6 " oil on archival panel, ©2014, Fay Terry

SOLD

The shape and stature of this very large pine cone has caused this one to be my favorite so far.
I am drawn to this combination of colors and when I set it in my shadow box on this cloth, I loved the way it looked.

If you are in Chapel Hill on Friday, March 7, you might want to stop by Top Of The Hill for the art show, "Through Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands" which is an annual fund-raiser for The Compass Center For Women And Families".  I will have four paintings there in the silent auction, (which is anonymous art until after your purchase.) Bill and I are attending and it is always fun.  If you would like to learn more, click for details

  1. I agree. It is one of my favorites as well. Besides what you mentioned, it has great foreshortening and negative space. Your knowledge of the subject really shows.
