I planted lettuce seeds and hope to have a good crop of salad greens in about forty days. This painting was done from a photo of our lettuce several years ago. Did you know that the common name for arugula is salad rocket? By either name it is one of my favorite salad greens.

We raise a lot of lettuce and I can't to stuff my mouth with some brand new lettuces. Love it. I haven't figured out how to paint lettuce yet.
