Painting Campobello Island

This is the beautiful spot where we painted today!

I am taking a workshop in Canada on Campobello Island with Michael Chesley Johnson.
He is an excellent teacher and his demos are amazing. I have learned so much already.
We have had gorgeous sunny weather.
I am staying on the other side of the bridge in Lubec, Maine at the Artist Retreat Studio and Gallery which Michael and his wife Trina Stephenson have recently started. Trina is also a fabulous artist.

It is a very short distance over to the island but interestingly the time in Lubec is Eastern Time and the time on Campobello is Atlantic time which means it is one hour later across the bridge.

Here are a few more photos I took today.

What a beautiful spot it was!

  1. Looks like lots of fun. I live on the Kentucky/Indiana border and before In went to daylight savings time it was like that 6 months of the year.
