It's been a beautiful day in Pinehurst and also in Cary where I went to a plein air paint out and met up with some new and old friends.

Wisteria is beginning to drip its sweet aromatic flowers from the high places on which it has climbed. I have long been in love with this quickly passing burst of color.

I may have mentioned that I planted some to grow up on our newly built pergola and it is growing well but not yet blooming so I have to seek other places to find it.  Fortunately, I know all the good places in town where it grows.
