This little bunny is having fun in the grass and I sure had fun painting him. We have had lots of rabbits in our yard and I love watching them as they usually come in groups of two or three.

Here's another cute bunny waiting for spring and Easter. I may have mentioned that I once had a pet bunny in my classroom when I taught kindergarten and first grade. The children loved him and learned a great deal about rabbits and pets in general. It was a high maintenance chore to keep him clean, fed, exercised outdoors, and all the other things he needed. Dogs are much simpler.

Isn't this bunny beautiful?  I haven't seen him for a few days so I'm glad I was able to snap some good photos a while back.  He loves eating my Daylillies; they are just beginning to come into bloom. This painting would look great in just about any room of your home and I will send it with a free tabletop display easel so you can enjoy it right away.

In other news, the women's US Open Golf tournament is proving to be an exciting match. Our community has enjoyed hosting all these world class golfers, men and women, for two weeks. Can't wait to see who wins on Sunday.

This is the first really small panel I have painted on. The difference between a six inch square and a four inch is amazing. It was fun, though, and I will probably try some more of these mini panels.

This bunny has a great personality and spends most of her time enjoying a large grassy area where she plays with other rabbits.  I love her little tooth showing and her strawberry-like nose.

I am working on some of my larger paintings this week and hope to have several completed to show you soon.

Today has been a fun painting day with my dogs hanging out in the studio with me. They have slept a lot after a great week-end with family and friends, I think watching our Easter Egg Hunt wore them out.

I am so glad that April has arrived and the Dogwoods are almost in bloom.

It is really just a coincidence that I became interested in bunnies right around Easter time.

I was looking at some of my sold paintings and they reminded me what a good time I'd had painting them.  Time to do more bunnies, thought I.
