Sign Of Spring

Sign Of Spring, 6 x 6 " oil on panel, ©2015, Fay Terry

SOLD

Crocuses are so wonderful! They have been known to peek out from the snow, but not these.  They are enjoying the sun which we have had in abundance today.
Happy Anniversary to my fabulous husband!

Blooming Now

Iris In April, 6 x 6 " oil on panel, ©2014, Fay Terry

I was surprised to see this morning that some of the Iris have started to bloom. They continue
spreading each year so it may be time to thin them. I love the shapes of the petals.
We still have not gotten the storms that have been hanging around us. Maybe there's time to get in a walk before the rain comes.

Looking Into Flowers

It's What's Inside, 6 x 6 " oil on gessobord panel,©2014, Fay Terry

$100 plus shipping

These are fun to paint with all the curly edges around the center part of the flower. They have taken a beating from the weather yesterday and today. I drove by one area where several were torn apart from the wind and ice.
Every spring they take my breath away with their beauty. I plan to do a 6 x 12 painting of these if I can get to it soon. Maybe Thursday...

Blue Sky

Spring's Arrival, 6 x 6 " oil on gessobord panel, ©2014, Fay Terry

$100, free shipping

Forsythia heralds the arrival of spring and so does the current temperature of sixty-eight degrees.
I am on my way out the door to walk around Reservoir Park with my husband. Hope you have had a great week-end. Thank you for following my art.

After The Rain

First Blooms, 8 x 8 " oil on archival panel, ©2013, Fay Terry

SOLD

We had over three inches of rain last night and when the sun finally came out everything just seemed to glow. I looked at these on Friday and the buds were tightly closed but this morning they had begun to open and show their gorgeous colors.
This one turned out just as I envisioned it, or maybe I should say, just like my value sketch that I did before I started it.
