Charleston Morning

Charleston Morning, 16 x 20" oil on linen, ©2015, Fay Terry

Available at Franklin Square Gallery, Southport, NC

This painting is one from a week-end trip to Charleston that included beautiful weather, the Cooper River Bridge Run, and lots of inspiration for new paintings. I am very pleased that this painting, as well as the one below, were juried into the Summer Regional Show in Southport.
I love this city and hope to go back soon to do more paintings.
Thank you for looking at my art!

Garden Chore List

Fay Terry, SUN-LOVING, 8 x 8 " oil on museum quality panel, ©2012
SOLD
I slid this flat of Geraniums onto the driveway this morning because they have been in a holding pattern in the shade, waiting to be potted.  We may not even get to them today, but if not planted, at least they have been painted.  The minute I saw the dappled light on the drive, I grabbed my easel and started having fun.
I have been a fan of dappled light since long before I started painting.  I am not sure why it seems so magical to me but it always looks as if light has arrived to start a party and I find it irresistible.
