These are fun to paint with all the curly edges around the center part of the flower. They have taken a beating from the weather yesterday and today. I drove by one area where several were torn apart from the wind and ice.
Every spring they take my breath away with their beauty. I plan to do a 6 x 12 painting of these if I can get to it soon. Maybe Thursday...
I think these are so hard to paint especially face on and you nailed it!
