Under Wraps

Glittering Gift, 6 x 6" oil on archival panel, ©2013, Fay Terry
$100. includes shipping

This is one of my Christmas gifts from my dear friend, Birgitta.  I know that it contains Belgian chocolates so I am not opening it just yet since it will be tempting.  After a few more days of really healthy eating and avoiding sweets, I will begin enjoying it slowly and maybe even sharing it with my family.
This was really fun to paint and thanks, Goran, for the photo!

  4. You are never going to believe this! You sent a lovely encouraging comment to me yesterday - tonight (I'm in Scotland) I picked your painting from Leslie's blog to look at first as I LOVED it, not realising it was you!!!!!! Well done, it is beautiful! Also well done for not eating the chocolates!

    1. What a lovely and serendipitous thing to tell me, Margaret! I am so happy that you liked it. I had a few too many sweets over the holidays which I don't usually eat so I am taking it easy. Where are you in Scotland? I have traveled there and it was wonderful and people were so warm and friendly.

    1. Thanks very much, Claire. I have a shadow box that I made from Carol Marine's directions and it really helps keep the light strong on the subject.
