I arrived in Port Clyde by mid afternoon on a beautiful sunny day. I had fun exploring and by late afternoon I really wanted to paint so I set up in front of the place I was staying and started on this view of the harbor. They made me a great iced coffee at the ice cream place you see in this painting which really helped since I was standing in sunlight while painting.

I had forgotten about this painting and I added a few finishing touches this morning so I could post this happy memory of summer.
